Nope not salt water, it was from the rains Smile The ocean is actually over the sand ridge in the background.

Out of curiosity though - what if it had been salt water? I'm sure regular exposure to salt would not be a good idea but once-in-a-blue-moon playing around would be bad as well?

Keeping with the original idea....

We were doing a trail that was mostly dirt roads. It was going to be muddy, since it had been raining for a week, so we expected to have fun...

WELL, it started raining cats and dogs in the middle of the trail. We had to wait 20mins Whistle ... In that time, since the dirt was already saturated, we got a flash-flooding (kind of common here). Good thing we were high up...

So the road became a water slide! FUN! Mr. Green
And my partner became the sacrificial lamb.... Rolling with laughter

Great your ground in Porto Rico, in France there is no this type of ground. You do not have a video or the other photos? It must be pleasant all the same to venture there but dangerous, no?
