If I'd known I was going to be so thirsty this morning I'd have drunk more beer last night.

Nope not salt water, it was from the rains The ocean is actually over the sand ridge in the background.
Out of curiosity though - what if it had been salt water? I'm sure regular exposure to salt would not be a good idea but once-in-a-blue-moon playing around would be bad as well?

Keeping with the original idea....
We were doing a trail that was mostly dirt roads. It was going to be muddy, since it had been raining for a week, so we expected to have fun...
WELL, it started raining cats and dogs in the middle of the trail. We had to wait 20mins ... In that time, since the dirt was already saturated, we got a flash-flooding (kind of common here). Good thing we were high up...
So the road became a water slide! FUN!
And my partner became the sacrificial lamb....

Great your ground in Porto Rico, in France there is no this type of ground. You do not have a video or the other photos? It must be pleasant all the same to venture there but dangerous, no?
