While in no way sympathising with the Lady Discovery driver, it does raise issues in my mind around invasion of privacy in the way some of these helmet cameras are used. I seem to recall that there is extensive legislation around how private cctv on buildings can be installed and that it must not overlook neighbouring properties and must be clearly signposted etc. Maybe the legislation needs to catch up with portable cctv?
It also raise some questions around what the cyclists attitude would have been if it had been a 6 foot, 18 stone, hairy a d trucker he had caught on camera - subtly different I suspect

I would be interested to see the police's reaction to being presented with the film. Mind you, the rider would first need to find a station that's open
