Got to confess, I had cereal whilst driving yesterday.
But it's ok, it wasn't for my breakfast .... it was for lunch (as I didn't have the time to stop.)
Oh, it was in bar form btw....... always on the road less travelled 🚧
< ‘tis but a mere scratch …….. it’ll polish out.

While in no way sympathising with the Lady Discovery driver, it does raise issues in my mind around invasion of privacy in the way some of these helmet cameras are used. I seem to recall that there is extensive legislation around how private cctv on buildings can be installed and that it must not overlook neighbouring properties and must be clearly signposted etc. Maybe the legislation needs to catch up with portable cctv?
We are entitled to privacy in our homes but, by definition, this does not apply when out in public: especially when committing an offence! These cameras bear down on stupid behaviour, which is good because the authorities can't be ar ed.
The cyclist shouldn't get so sanctimonious, however. He cut back across the line of traffic without looking left. The last car he overtook would have been perfectly entitled to filter up and the cyclist would have been toast.
SWMBO & I took the D3 and bikes out today. Cycled about 15 miles and every motorist was fantastic. Went for a job as a human cannonball. Not the right calibre.

No DDDad I think that you are completely wrong, the way in which this cyclist used his camera is the same as if one of your neighbours set up their cctv camera to take detailed views into your lounge or kitchen.

I do not believe you people not really stating that chick in 2.5 tons of a car should have not been banned?????
she was filmed holding the bowl while almost stationary but seconds later she took off in doing exactly the same .... she should have no license for the sole fact of being brainless fecking bitch endangering everyone in the traffic that day
perhaps she should have installed steering wheel mounted portable table and have full spread of the full English and a cuppa of hot coffee as well????
I do not believe so many people OKing it .... it shows clearly why there is so much wrong doing around cos there is so much acceptance for wrong doing and it starts very innocent with a breakfast ROTLF lame!!!
if i was there i would block her way until the bowl would go down or better out the fecking window emptied!!!

My daughter is doing law and one case they looked at recently was to do with privacy and while it is reasonable to expect privacy within yor home etc and you can use that to prevent cctv etc being pointed at your house etc such rulings do not apply when you are out and about in a public place including in a vehicle nor does it apply to incidental images taken from a public place ie someone takes a photo of a street/house and happens to capture an image of someone sunbathing or standing at a window.==================================

I once saw someone eating a full english breakfast, off a proper plate with a knife and fork, along with a cup of tea in a proper mug. While stationary at some traffic lights.
I thought it was fantastic.
In this day and age too many people have to leave home without having had time for a proper breakfast. I'd rather he hadn't have eaten it while driving but I applaud the brass neck for doing it

But your car ain't your lounge nor your kitchen. You are quoting your opinion; I am quoting the law.
When lots of strangers stand at my lounge window and watch me having sex I call the police. When they watch through my car window in a secluded layby I call it doggin'. Went for a job as a human cannonball. Not the right calibre.

It's in the Telegraph now, presumably is or will shortly be in the Daily Mail, so the within a few hours we will know exactly who she is, where she lives and how much her house is worth!
Serves her right. Looks like Driving without Due Care. People like this driver need showing up before they kill or injure someone.
Cyclist may be a sanctimonious wotsit but well done. Might want to lose the over-excitable US cop "PUT THAT DOWN!" thing though. If he'd have had a gun I fear he may have used it!Tony

Only the the issue that you won't get filmed if you don't do something unbelievably stupid. Tony
