Hi all, has anyone seen, got any pictures of or know any more about the double DIN conversion kits from Britpart etc? One caught my eye the other day and got me thinking but I'm knackered if I can find any more info or pictures of one fitted... The thought of modern infotainment in what is otherwise the bestest car in the world has got to be a good thing, if it's integrated well... Jaguar Land Rover: "Building great cars, badly."

I'm sure it's the one that Britpart are advertising. Looks pretty good to me.
I've been wanting to upgrade mine for ages after having Apple CarPlay in our second car. The only reservation I have is it will mean losing the timed heater controls - that's pretty much the only thing I use on the OEM screen. Guess I will have to fit a remote FBH kit if I ever go down this road.

I've seen folks on here who have done it on the D3 - didnt think you can do this on a D4
Al Volvo XC90 B5 Plus Dark
Gone - MY18 D5 HSE - Corris on 22's with Black Pack
Now gone - MY16 D4 SE Tech, Loire Blue, Almond Leather, Privacy, plus some other goodies.
Old - MY12 D4 SDV6 XS Auto - Ipanema Sand with Almond Leather - Plus other niceties, and D4.com sticker
Older - D3 TDV6 XS Auto - Lugano Teal with Almond Leather, 20" Stormers, Shiny Tailpipes, DVD/TV - and obligatory D3 sticker
Ancient - D3 TDV6 S - Tonga with Ebony, 20" Stormers, satnav & DVD

Guess with this kit you loose the 4x4 info etc as well

Yep you’d lose info and timed climate as well as permanently devaluing the motor as factory kit cant be put back in due to the dash cutting required ...
But if that’s your thing   go for it 
Think the expensive naviplus addon that gives CarPlay is the only thing to consider IMO

Liked the look of this until I saw you had to cut the dash and can't return it to factory.
Oh well back to the drawing board
