| Dreaded renewal time again |
|
Just had the renewal through for the D4 current company is Equity Red Star and has shot up to £571 
Thought I would have a ring round and get some other quotes and tried LR first, thought I would end up  but instead was shocked and suprise. They quoted £532 including off road use and the option to fit LR assesories, side steps, raised air intake winch sump plates etc.
Will still ring round but please with that especially afte Duncans recent expierience with them. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

I am paying just over £400 with LR Insurance 
they gave me a 10% discount for having an accident and then coming back to them
got the pay out a few weeks ago and havnt filled in a single bit of paperwork -
we have now insured the freelander with them as well Duncan

on a motor racing track, airfield, Nürburgring, de-restricted toll road or at an off road event such as an off road 4x4 event or whilst green laning;
for commercial travelling, racing, rallies, pace making, motor sport, hill climbing, speed trials, reliability trails, other trials and/ or endurance tests;
Seems pretty conclusive I guess - perhaps I'll take a look around before I renew
