I had a claim with them some years ago and they were fine. If AF could get me a decent quote from Equity I'd still be with them. Tony

renwal time for me - been with Tesco bank for the last 3 years after sticking with NFU for about 5 years.
Renewal in at £670 (from £636 last year), so time for a quick trawl around methinks.
The fat singing bloke and the meercats were hopeless, all over 700quid.
LR insurance weren't bad at £590, but Direct Line came in at £460, me and 'er indoors, fully comp, business use, hirecar plus (so something close to what I've got), protected NCB, inc having non-standard alloys.
going with that.

Have been told that NFU are good for anything 4x4....?
Currently with Adrian Flux, but Sureterm were good pricewise for a 'new customer', renewal price was high for 2nd year (based on the probability that you're not going to bother checking around i guess )
One certainty in life is that they'll extract as much dollar from your wallet as they think they can get away with! If it has TIT's or WHEEL's it will cause you problems!!

its no good saying it 3 times Gobbler - doesnt make it any better
NFU were good for 4x4 stuff, but now they are very choosy. I'd had quite a few of my previous Disco's with them, and always had good prices and service, but a few years back their prices started to move up, then went silly, then they refused to give me a quote due to too many claims from my postcode area. Great - not been back since.
