Drivers Door Handle

I noticed at the weekend that the drivers door handle ( the bit you push with yout thumb) is loose and hanging off. I have tried to push it back but it just pops out again.

Is this something I can replace easily or even superglue it back in?

GlosBoy ,

I paid about a Fiver for the door handle cover (The small cover).
The lugs tend to break when removing the cover from the outside which is why yours is probably loose but if removed from inside (door panel removed) then the lugs can be squeezed together and it comes off without damage.

To fit , hook in at one end and push the other .

Thanks guys.

I think it may have started when I had to take the inside door cover off to replace the Electric Window switch which was totally wrecked by the previous owner. The amount of hidden screws probably meant I disturbed something.

Will get one ordered - I assume I can just pull the old one off as the lugs must already be broken and push the new one it.

While you're at it...why not mod all the way and change all door handles with body coloured ones... Whistle
