Ejecting Sat Nav DVD
Quick question if I may....
How the bejasus do you eject the Sat Nav DVD? I've been through the old RTFM routine, searched the forum and am still no wiser.
Before I get the 2lb knocking stick out to it, can anyone help?
The reason I'm attempting it, is my Nav has lost it's voice - it still hears me and responds but says nothing (yes - sound is UP... ).
I've read a post that suggests ejecting and reloading the disc may cure it (otherwise the stealer is on for a boot up the hole - again..)
Many thanks.......... I see no ships........

Mine now doesn't talk to me [since it was in for a previous service].
But I rekon it's in the setting.
When coming up to an 'instruction', if I press the icon on the bottom right - alas, she speaks.
Personally I prefer her to keep quiet and only get her to talk when I want to!
Wish I could do the same with swmbo ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧
< ‘tis but a mere scratch …….. it’ll polish out.

Don't have LR Sat nav but my last D3 did so here's what I remember.
Move passanger seat right forward.
Go to middle row of seats to access disk player under passanger set, there is a locking switch, slide to unlock. There should be a button to press and disk is ejected. Watch out for sharp metal under the seat.
Don't have that problem with my TomTom!

Is the disk getting stuck or don't you know how to eject . Can't help you on the first one , but on the second one do the following . Lift the passanger seat as high as possible and move back as far as possible. This will allow you to fit your hand under the seat . Turn on ignition . Push unlock bottom (top right ) to the right. Then push eject button (top left) . If you have the Nav and Tel systems manual , it is on page 24
OK just saw DSL's post , YMMV depending on what seat it is under and also the make of player . Mine is correct for SA model

That's the one thing I miss re the LR sat nav is speaking to Suzi SatNav. Could have long conversations with her on long boring drives. Present D3 has voice for phone thingie but it's a bloke, just not the same!
