AA tested the battery.

Garage tested the battery.

Both said it's good so I think I'll leave it for now.

Thumbs Up

Hopefully it is an AGM battery, if not add that to the shopping list for the future.

You might want to think about removing the towbar when not using it ?

Unfortunately it didn't come with the key. That's now resolved so just have to get the WD40 and big hammer out to free it off as I don't think its been removed for some time.

It hadn't been removed for some years before I bought I would assume. I got replacement keys a short
time after purchase and tried dosing with WD40 but it was not to be moved.

Life got in the way and this was way down on the list of priorities but was revisited this week.

With help from YouTube the tow bar was removed, cleaned, greased, reassembled with new lock and stored safely in the boot!!

So satisfying doing this to something that I probably won't use (but it's there if I need it) and nobody will see......
