Agreed, getting the paintwork to look it’s best it takes a lot of time/effort, so I can understand why ‘good’ detailing companies charge a lot of money. The vehicle still looks really good, although could do with some more wax to top it up.RLD CB Bracket

Wow dgarside that is very shiny!!! Always fancied a DA polisher but there’s so many at different prices it’s hard to decide!
Would you know if chemical guys do a decent plastic restorer and if it’s any good? I’m after something to remove a few marks from the roof rack plastic trim

It’s more about the scratches hopefully you can see pictures below, I know what you mean about the windscreen cowl, I’ve some trim gel for that but also find carefully applied instant tyre dressing gets the colour back on that and the door trims
Truth be told, I’d missed the bottom half of the driver’s door & SWMBO had missed a third of the front passengers side.

Hmmmmmm yeah, I’ve got similar and one of the jobs I need to sort out. I would have thought a really fine polish might do the trick, but I’m just not sure when it comes to plastic. One thing I do know is that plastic will heat up much quicker than paint, so any polishing will need to be done carefully. I might do a bit of research and see what I can find out.RLD CB Bracket

Doesn’t look as good as that now, had a few offroad days and knocked the front bumper over when fitting the hidden winch…. So a bit scratched in a few places now…. few days of paint repair coming up and a trip to the body shop for a few bits.RLD CB Bracket
