A gloat
Changed a front lower arm on the D3 yesterday (failed ball joint).
Everything came apart easy peasy
Last changed 10 years ago, covered the bolts in anti-seize (copper slip). Tapped out with a hammer. There was still loads of copper slip on the front bolt, the rear was in worse shape but still knocked out - which I wasn't expecting.
Just goes to show - don't scrimp on the anti-seize 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

If only they put copper slip on from new, it would save us so much agro on the first replacement.Stu
