I soooooo remember that from last year. I think I vowed then that IFs would be hotel/b&b based from then on. I know, wussy but worth it.

A few locals warned us about it, but more not to step on it. Luckily it was having a good schnooze and we (well I, SWMBO’s too sensible) didn’t get too close.

Back at hotel, quick cool bath before checking out at 2pm & heading on. This morning was a but of a mooch around the Botanical Gardens, which was a lovely little break from the busy city.

Obviously mum didn’t see the “not” in “do not feed the animals” sign, but I’m not sure they could eat a whole little ‘un.

Now safely esconsed in the Marina Bay Sands hotel, on the 44th floor!!! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a room that high!!
