Hi Heine
I'm definitely interested, would just want to confirm final costs (when those are known) and also that it is the kit that integrates with the steering wheel controls ? What do you mean it won't go there ?

From TLO's current advert:
Just released by Land Rover..This audio connection unit has been designed to connect
ALL current Ipod / Touch and Iphone to Your Discovery 3.
Also all future Apple products should fit this module ...as long as they do not drastically change their
connection method in the near future.
It will allow you to control track change and volume via the steering wheel controls
whilst your Ipod is securely stored away inside the glovebox or centre console
Models this will work with:
Gen 4 (Photo), Mini, Gen5 (Video), 30,60 and 80gb, Nano Original Gen1,
Nano Gen 2, Nano Gen3, Ipod Classic, Itouch and Iphone.

Am sure I'm missing something, but what advantage does this offer over using a 3.5mm jack cable from the headphone outlet on the iPod into the Aux socket? Such a cable only costs a few rand and still enables volume to be controlled from the steering wheel, albeit not the track.
