Dropped my car off for a suspected EGR problem (lack of power) at Guy Salmon Portsmouth, within the hour they called to say they had found the problem and had got authority from Tesco to cover the work. They also fitted the rear anti roll bar shims as identified by 10ForCash. great service, free brand new loan Freelander 2 (high spec as well) and car washed as well. Total time from drop off to collection was less than 7 hours, would have been faster if I hadn't been held up at work.
They arranged payment direct from Tesco warranty so I walked away without having to pay anything.

Andy, I've found Kerri to be very good as well. Although I think Guy Salmon are pretty expensive and seem to opt for the most expensive option. I needed the gear box flush to stop the rev surging issue Guy Salmon told me I needed a new gear box! Probably good for warranty work though. D3 HSE MY05 Auto

having just had a fun day with the "others" yesterday....................
what are`these shims then? as it was very obvious up on the ramp yesterday that the all the rear suspension bushes on mine are pretty visually bad. end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

I have a spare set of shims for you, are you around tonight as I can drop them off with the bike rack. They are easy to fit.
