As above - does anyone know what to check in the event of windscreen washers not heating (I have D4 heated jets fitted to D3).
Frosty bonnet this morning and only the FBH corner thawing on my journey into work (they have previously worked with the tell tale defrost ring around them).
Any pointers appreciated.
Cheers,

On D4's that are fitted with the heated front screen, the screen, heated washers and heated mirrors, together with the rear screen, all turn on automatically when the outside temp is below 5 degrees C, anyway, they will turn off after a few minutes but will come on again if the system thinks it is necessary.
So they are all automatic, to an extent!
i know this is a old post but is this correct, heated screen washer only comes on when heated screen is on. also is the heated windscreen serposed to be on for heated mirrors as mine dont work.
this would be ace if someone could answer this.

think they might come on when the temp drops below a certain number same as the front and rear screens annoyingly do and i didn't think mirrors heating was switchable (could be wrong though)please excuse any grammer/punctuation mistakes,i'm thick, thankyou

On the D3 the mirrors and jet heater control is the same function.
A relay by the battery is pulsed on the off every few seconds.
I would first wiggle and remove the relay and refit. If that doesn't work, replace.
Also have a look at the fuses. I think there are 2, not sure
Looking at D4 wiring:
fuse 12 for jets
can't find the mirror heaters on the D4 diagram.

Thanks Gary. I did find that page.
The relay top left does say mirrors and jets (though LR do get the markings wrong sometimes)
I couldn’t see the actual connection to mirrors
Fuse 12 in engine bay.

Did you get to the bottom of this?
I've got the same issue... my fuse is fine, my windows mirrors are 'warm', but my jets are frozen solid.
My build sheet states "Front Heated Washer Jets With Heated Washer Jet (040AQ)" so I'm kinda hoping they're there!

Remove the bonnet sound proofing and check for mouse damage, they love to nest, chew the wires and hibernate around the heated washers. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
