Identify Air Compressor Via Gap Tool

Morning all, just wondering, is there a way of identifying what Air Compressor is fitted to the car via the GAP IID Tool? I have the lovely C1A13-64 (AF) Pressure does not decrease when venting gallery fault. Its raining cats and dogs at the moment - but would like to the get the right overhaul kit on order to sort it out over the weekend. Or do i really have to get under the car and take the cover off to know?

Thanks

Not to my knowledge, just wipe the plate off and have a look.

Why wait, just go for it and enjoy life.

It will show you the software version loaded for AMK or Hitachi, but not what is actually fitted, as above post to see whats fitted.

Thanks all, have got home and half managed to get the bottom cover off - all the bolts (T25/T27) have corroded and the rear one closest to the back wheel just wont come off - so will have to cut it off to be able to get the OEM Hitachi unit out and refurbed/overhauled.
