IID Tool app crash on andriod s7 |
|
Hi I have a galaxy s7 I recently got my bluetooth iid tool used I done the transfer of ownership and thought I would look at the love values all worked great. I updated it on my pc now ever time I go into live values the app crashes there has been another update which I have updated and still can't get to live values. I emailed Gap and they said lots of people use the app with out issues try deleting the app and 're installing. Which I have I also tried it on another andriod phone but get the same issue.
Any one got any ideas have I brought a dodgy tool. www.pcsupportservicez.co.uk

I had a similar problem and GAP have been very helpful. They released a new update for the tool just a few days ago - have you tried that? Also have you opened it up to se if the Bluetooth board is seated correctly?

I last updated it a couple of weeks ago. I will see if there is a newer version. Is it easy to open it to see if the board is dislodged. www.pcsupportservicez.co.uk

Did you fix this?
I had a similar issue with mine. I had an S7 edge to begin with and whilst I got the car
(L322 RR Vogue ) activated, I couldn't get into some of the menus once connected.
I then tried connecting to the tool using an old Apple iPad I had ... and that seemed to get past the hangup points of the S7 Edge and allow me into the further menus.
A while later, I tried the S7 Edge again and it worked fine. I hadn't changed any of the settings or updated the versions of either so I dont know what changed other than trying it with an Apple device.
