Inlet leak??

Hi,

I have noticed what seems to be a blown seal and evidence of a leak. Is this air going in to the inlet? The car doesn’t go in to limp mode so not noticed before. Is it easy enough to replace the seal? If so what’s the part called?
Any help gratefully received.

Hi

Apologises as wasn’t sure if u had the 2.7 D4 or 3.0 , think there the same

https://www.advancedfactors.co.uk/throttle-housing-11696-c.asp

Does help if u put silicone grease on the seals along with getting some cleaner for the Map sensor as they are renowned for blocking up , not wishing to try and teach j how to suck eggs, don’t poke anything down the end of the map sensor , use some brake or carb cleaner

Isn’t a difficult job just need to be careful removing the throttle body , also ideal time to clean inside

Also have to be careful getting the front large clip back into place , need 3 x seals, 2 x at the Y and one at the front

Will also need some pliers to unclip the EGR pipe clips , enclosed a link

Hope this helps
