Instant fuel economy readout
Hello everyone,
Am I missing something here!!! Got an 09 D3. Just wondering if the multi function dash display has the ability to show
'real time' instant l/km's, as opposed to the 'average' used. Can't seem to get answer from the manual. Appreciate any advice.

The computer works out the mpg from when the distance trip was last reset. If you were to reset it while travelling and then go a short distance, it would work out the mpg over that distance. Not "instantaneous" as such, but may be enough for your use.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. Thanks Navigator. It's not that crucial, just thought I was missing something. As for buying a D4, need to be convinced that it is loaded with features and exceeds the D3 by a lot more than instant economy readout. MY09 TDV6 SE

Don't take the mpg as true, it's got a feel good factor of 10 - 20%. Just so you can feel you are looking after the planet whilst keeping the oil companies in the manner they have become accustomed to!
