Ipod kit - Advice on usage!

Ive just installed the new ipod kit in the govebox (bought from that nice man Nick @ yeovil)

It all works fine and am very impressed, however just wanting to make sure, do i have to turn the actual Ipod off when i get out of the wagon?

Reason for asking is noticed that it keeps playing after i turn off wagon and dont want to discharge he battery, similar will it keep charging if i dont disconnect?

Dunno if all ipods are the same - but mine pauses and then goes to sleep when it detects that the power is off - which happens when the car goes to sleep . About 2 mins I think

It'll go to sleep with the car. When you unlock and the car wakes up it comes back to life. No issues with leaving it plugged in Thumbs Up

Easy test . With the ipod playing - pull out the connector and see if it pauses

Cheers for that! Does that mean it will just start playing as soon as you turn the wagon on?
