Ipod kit - Advice on usage! |
|
Ive just installed the new ipod kit in the govebox (bought from that nice man Nick @ yeovil)
It all works fine and am very impressed, however just wanting to make sure, do i have to turn the actual Ipod off when i get out of the wagon?
Reason for asking is noticed that it keeps playing after i turn off wagon and dont want to discharge he battery, similar will it keep charging if i dont disconnect? '56 Disco 3 SE - Tonga Green

Dunno if all ipods are the same - but mine pauses and then goes to sleep when it detects that the power is off - which happens when the car goes to sleep . About 2 mins I think

It'll go to sleep with the car. When you unlock and the car wakes up it comes back to life. No issues with leaving it plugged in

Easy test . With the ipod playing - pull out the connector and see if it pauses

Cheers for that! Does that mean it will just start playing as soon as you turn the wagon on? '56 Disco 3 SE - Tonga Green
