Bear in mind that next year when camera's are around they'll be another 2.5% on Vat plus not 0% 60/40 (possibly) which in turn could cost £2k in interest payments and VAT will be £1k+. Will no camera option drop a 3 yo trade in by £3K - doubt it, maybe a few £100's.....
Don't forget as well that after April 2010 the first year Road Tax is £750 as well

Look don't fool yourselves - the cameras are an absolute must
....just think how handy they will be for witnessing 'live' multi angle road-kill footage. 8) 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

The first D3s didn't have adaptive headlights, everyone thought them a gimmick, but I'd want them again. Why not buy the new one now and then another one in a years time DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

OK they are deffo a must have then.
Shame they're not remotely controlled for rake, angle, pitch and zoom coz that would be VERY interesting.....

Neil - the cameras in the HSE we were in at the factory the other day were really really really impressive BUT are they £3k of value ...
I really liked them but after a bit the 'new' factor would probably wear off (and there nothing like sticking your head out of window to see where your wheels are!) SOLD - 23my Range Rover Sport D300 Dynamic SE

HOWEVER, folding to the lad in me i DO agree that the cameras are an amazing gadget if nothing else and I'd love to have them,
BUT having said that neil I dont think i'd fork out another 3.5 k for them... i mean, are they going to be ANY help when you bring my next set of tyres down one wife.......livid

Remind me when you have your D4 SJR to make an FOI request for your footage. Should make great viewing.
Actually do the cameras record pictures at all, i don't know. Just thinking about insurance claims and accidents etc Badda bing.......How you doin'?
