I would have them if money allowed
However not sure how much you would use them......it does seem a bit unnatural looking at the screen instead of out of the window
Mind you, I would like the dash out of the '10 FFRR as well............
Just get it NeilD and then you have a reason to get another one in 12 months time......and i can buy it off you
end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

If you're doing loads of towing then yes the cameras are great; otherwise I wouldn't be bothered - if you can't park it without them like the rest of the world has to then you've got a problem
FWIW I have a rear camera on the Prius - great gimmick but not one I would have worried about too much - used it a lot when I first got the car, when I was trying to get the autopark to work, but eventually gave up with that and now just use the mirrors. Only ever use when in very tight spaces to squeeze as far back as I can, but as it is a fish eye lens it is not that great.
Personally I would not sek out a D4 when the time comes with the systemCraig

Exactly, he has tried to cover it up by putting it in his signature strip I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Its the camera's that worry me, I would have liked them but can I wait 6 months +, not sure!. Ideally wouldnt have opted for factory TV/Rear DVD's.
Bear in mind that next year when camera's are around they'll be another 2.5% on Vat plus not 0% 60/40 (possibly) which in turn could cost £2k in interest payments and VAT will be £1k+. Will no camera option drop a 3 yo trade in by £3K - doubt it, maybe a few £100's.....

Ah Ha - I see now - slightly more complicated than I had imagined ...
I would have added to that the fear that by next year D3's trade in values will have fallen again.
I got £22k for an 07 HSE with 50,000 miles but my guess is that would be sub £20k by next year.
Or maybe just another excuse I have made up in my mind to justify splashing out on an HSE (now) when an XS (on order) would no doubt have done the job fine ...Disco 4 TDV6HSE

Be careful, your old fridge was collected in it!!!!!!
The sig is clear - I commute 900 miles a week fully expensed for the huge sum of £30/wk in tax, sounds like a good deal to me, I then enjoy the LR when I want toCraig

Passed up the option of the stock car as the px was not good enough. Not too worried as it wasnt the exact spec I'd like. Will be on the look out I think in the next qtr. Still have the option of a pre reg but that has its own concerns.

Given the comparatively high price of new D4's I would have though 2nd D3 prices should hold up OKSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
