Which one of you has the clowns car to match? Well that could be either of you, depending on the individual taste of the reader.
Keep it going lads.
I'm going to struggle with a base colour of green, I need something far more appropriate

Ooooh, Paul, I challenge you to a high-jump. Shall we start at 18" and work our way down? I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

The Volvos destroy the land rovers for reliability and build quality, however, a Land Rover is a Land Rover so I always go back!
Oddly enough, my old man’s Phase 2 V70 D5 (one of the best cars that they’ve built over the last 15 years ), that I sourced for him about 5 years ago, has just died and needs a new dual mass flywheel and clutch at just 100,000 miles. I wouldn’t say “destroy” myself 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

If anyone puts any weight to the AE DriverPower survey, then this week they published the top carmakers as judged by their owners
26. Dacia
25. Citroen
24. Renault
23. Fiat
22. Vauxhall
21. BMW
20. Mercedes
19. Mini
18. Audi
17. Peugeot
16. Ford
15. Hyundai
14. Seat
13. Volvo
12. Toyota
11. Suzuki
10. Jaguar
9. Mazda
8. Kia
7. Land Rover
6. Skoda
5. Volkswagen
4. Nissan
3. Honda
2. Alfa Romeo
1. Lexus
LR went from 24th last year to 7th this, so they must be doing something right.

Presumably ....but then you seem to say that on the basis that no other manufacturer suffers from engine failure of one sort or another to a tiny proportion of their vehicles

It’s only tiny until it happens to you, then it’s not so tiny.

Well obviously for the individual, yes ...but you can still apply that view across the board of manufacturers
