I have just added some pictures taken while mounting my Tripple R-750 Elite 2 Lazer lamps earlier this year on my MY14 using a kit supplied by OEM Plus (https://oem-plus-webshop.de/) from Germany:
The kit includes mounting brackets, an electronic relay, switch, cable loom, etc.
It does require tapping into the main beam signal and provides full control of ther spot lamps:
- Lamps enabled together with full beam
- Lamps switched independantly
- Lamps off
Hope this helps you finding a solution for your set-up.
Greetings,
OlafDisco4 V6 SC HSE (MY2014)

Basically you bring 'always on' power into one side, a feed from the full beam on the other, and take power to the relay from the middle.
With the switch up the extra lights are on independently of the headlights (and the red warning light is on)
With the switch centred, the extra lights are off
with the switch down, the extra lights come (and go off) on with high beam
I am thinking of doing the same with my D4 before next winter (I do a lot of full beam driving in the winter)

Hi Roger,
the two switches control different lamp circuits. One is for the front spot lights and the other for aux-lighting on the roof-rack, when it is mounted.

I've just bought the OEM-plus kit and wanted to add a second switch similar to Avalon. I can't seem to find a source of these switches. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Part number on the side 05313503 seems to suggest an alrm switch for a VW passat.

Hi,
yes, those are VW switches with a newly engraved symbol. If you contact them I think they will be able to get you a switch and the connector as well.

Halfway through fitting this kit and I'm unsure which connectors the extra pins go to. Avalon mentioned connector C2443, but I can't seem to track down the list of connectors for the MY2016 Discovery. How do I know which one this is?

Hi Ingio,
if you download the schematics and connector data from the ondrive share provided by the user DGARDEL here on the forum you will find a layout document for the main connectors - "JLR 15 00 21_1E - DISCOVERY 4 - MY2014 - Connector Quick Reference Guide"
The connector is located in the footwell just above the footrest on the drivers side. If you look into my galery you will find a picture showing the connector - https://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/displayim...mp;pos=11. As my car is a LHD you must mirror that over to your RHD.

I am in the process of installing the Lazer Lamps Triple R 750 Disco 4 integration kit right now.
Would anyone be interested in me taking a few notes and photos as I go to serve as a reference to others?
The mounting of them is very straightforward and well explained in the documentation provided, but I suspect the wiring is where most people come unstuck...

I've done mine, but didn't take very good pictures and was slightly flummoxed by the wiring, so think your write up would be useful.

If you have the right kitt, there is no need to tap into the can bus. The kit from OEM Plus taps into the high beam feed only - even for MY 14 to 16. Disco4 V6 SC HSE (MY2014)
