I did the same. Luckily it's sunny even in the winter in Arizona so I do this twice a year. Thumbs Up

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I've recently picked this up from eBay, leather cleaner/interior dye

I specified my Alpaca Beige (Cream Leather) & it arrived within a few days, really took out any cracks/discoloured lines in the leather seats....

Search eBay for item no. eBay Item No. 250556754427 or seller "sqekey"

Brian Thumbs Up

I've used Gliptone Liquid Leather Cleaner & Conditioner for years, it keeps the leather supple and really brings out that leather smell.
I'm not as good as I once was........but I'm as good once as I ever was.

Just did my 2006 HSE, began by following the 'apply with soft cloth' instructions and abandoned that after 5 minutes, my leather wanted FAR more feeding than that. I used Autoglym leather treatment, also a thick lanolin based cream, feels like good quality hair conditioner. I put a big grape sized blob in my palm and rub it between my hands and really work it in, I found two thick applications were needed on the seats.

Top tip, cut your nails first, it would be easy to scratch or even cut your leather when its moist and you are massaging the cream into the nooks and crannies - especialy at the stitching or on the thin un-padded areas like the cubby lid and door cards

Most important advice I can give is to not forget your dash pad, mine soaked up FOUR really thick applications and it now looks and feels a hundred times better for it, it was especially dry under the instrument binnacle above the speedo.

Overall, for thewhole car I used about half a 300ml bottle. This was an easy, cheap and extremely satisfying maintenance job, left overnight, very quick buff with a clean towel at the end and the leather is restored from stiff and dry to soft, pliable and shiny again.

Cheers

I swore byConnoly stuff

Used on a variety of volvos (that actually had genuine Connolly leather)
I have tried the Autoglym stuff (that is supplied to Aston & Jaguar as OEM stuff too)
I then moved over to Glyptone - I have tried their cleaners , leather food & repair solutions (all BRILLIANT)

To me way ahead of the others a regards ease of use & effect......

The leather repair stuff has taken a really nasty scrawk mark from my XK very light colour seats & I mean taken it out not masked or covered it up....like new lighter coloured leathers can look really poor with the deeper veins getting grime in there & looking more aged than they should....Glyptone solves that

I went to the Gylptone place in Todmorden......they matched the make / type / colour & year of my Jag leather upholstery......Exactly

The Glyptone food stuff is especially good on damaged, marked or well used leather (lost its surface sheen)

Give it a go....you won't be disappointed & read their website facts & reasoning (especially use of leather care wipes & even baby wipes)
I have nothing to gain out of others not trying or using Glyptone - but I wish I had found this stuff earlier

I wouldn't go back to the Connolly stuff after Glyptone.
 BREXIT - done properly.

Gliptone every time for me too Bow down Thumbs Up

Used it on other cars and bought the intensive cleaner especially to revive the shamefully neglected leather in my Diso Evil or Very Mad

Using a small hand sprayer and paintbrush I rejuvenated my filthy beige back to new in under two hours - including finishing all areas with their excellent conditioner which has that fantastic genuine leather smell.

Superb product IMO Bow down

I used Gliptone

On 12 dining room chairs of my sister in law...
Light beige coloured Connolly hide....that has been in storage....with some nasty MOULD spots
The results after carefull use are simply stunning....I now have to restock & will be travelling to thier emporium in Todmorden....also to match a colour for a scuff repair

I've used AutoGlym products for 15 years plus and always been happy. I read this thread a few weeks ago brought a pot to try and see the difference and today finally got around to doing it. Even had the sun to warm the leather a bit. Very impressed at the difference. I had to put quite a lot on in a 2 coats. I've probably used 1/2 a pot but cost difference and finish quality I will definitely be buying some more.

I need to do something with my dash top as SWMBO decided to put her feet up on it the other day after the beach and it got covered in sand and moisturising gunk. Anyone tried this kind of stuff on the dash top? same approach i presume ?

I've just had a set of gliptone intensive cleaner and conditioner through the door, my disco has the beige leather and to be honest really needs attention. The back seats etc still look new but the front seats, door cards etc have ingrained dirt. I think it hasn't been done since new. Look forward to having the day on the car and trying the gliptone stuff. I'll do some before and after pics too.

Connolly Leather Cleaner / Care

Compared to eBay or Amazon this seems like good value for both products...

Anyone seen it cheaper?
