would leaving unlocked drain battery?
Hi
Went to the car last night and found it unlocked!! not sure if that was accidental or not... anyway tried to start her and the battery was tottaly flat..
Probably the cause. As I understand it the car cannot go to 'sleep' unlocked and therefore drains the batteryPot Noodle Challenge Winner 2011

I don't believe that simply being unlocked would drain the battery, I've left mine that way a good many times without any problems.
It would need something keeping the car "awake" like a door or bonnet not fully closed or key in the ignition.Clive

Left mine open a few times overnight when camping with back door open, still ok in the morning.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
