Been lurking on here a while and hopefully ordering a D4 this week to replace my my11 freelander. What is the typical wait from order at the moment?
This may now be out of date, but mine was delivered on the 26th of September and took around 10 weeks from order.
Hope you enjoy your new D4 - I've been driving FL2's myself for the last 4 years.2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

So been told that if I order this week it will be with me within 6 weeks! That seems good yeah? They offered me a Land Rover contribution of £3k if I take the finance. What other discounts should I be looking for?

I got 10% (in France)...
I test drove a UK HSE (directors car, 6 months old 10000 miles) at Stratstones Newport Pagnall and was offered nothing...
Reading it all depends on dealer!

Mean I can still get 8% off from dealer. Anyone any ideas that has recently bought?

get the quote form brokers which gives some savings and talk to dealers about the final price plus 2 or 3K from LR which might give you around 9% discount
carfile.net has some nice offers

Wheels
Just to answer J77's question. The wheels are style 516 which are a no cost option on the HSE luxury instead of the black and machine finished "Landmark" wheels. They don't appear on the on line configurator but are in the brochure. They are a polished face with a titanium painted in fill. They look really sharp when clean. Apart from a Canadian road test report, I don't think I've seen any fitted on a car elsewhere (although I'm sure someone on here will tell me otherwise!)
