That’s a good point, insurers normal are on the ball ! I now have an image of Clint Eastwood in my head now  It’s a gamble for sure could be expansive either way !!

No could be about it. Unless you are lucky. Buying a warranty can take the pain out of a major repair but guarantee's you will over enough years pay the cost anyway.
I guess unlucky is more than one major unwarranted repair or the warranty not covering your particular repair
When I enquired, the limitations and exclusions read like a list of most likely and uncovered major risks to me. Disco 4 2012
