Mark Y invited a few of us to join him on an Adventure trail through Eastnor woods - Was a fabulous morning - though a little damp - I pitty those camping there this weekend!
Was good to meet Mark Y - huge thanks for the invite enjoyed it - as did SWMBO and the kids Yogi, Captain Slow and Kingmav (again!)
Captain Slow does live up to his name - we stopped at the services on the M5 just before the M50 - and he was behind - until we came off the island, when he disappeared in the mirrors
Anyway, a couple pictures from the day - my Youngest took a few through the rear window as there wasn't the time to stop and take a lot. The only place that I took a few was a bit that the D3 drivers didn't do - I'm sure we could have, but there was too big a risk of some damage - and another bit down some steps - which were the perfect distance apart for the D3's - NOT! Just after was a tree we had to drive around - which came really close to the rear of the car - and Yogi had to get winched around - his tyres just couldn't cope.
There is also a video from the Blackview - sorry about the singing on it
Mark.

Great pictures
THAT was twitchy ah hole time coming past those trees, nowt wrong with the tyres, probably to do with my lack of knowledge off road, and heavy foot lol
Brilliant day, really great to meet up with you all, and again thanks to Mark for sorting this out.
Gary, thanks for the tug!
Lre guys were huffing n puffing by the time they got me sorted out
Bent brackets on side bars and scrAtched a brembo,
Black wheels are a bit chipped, so really pleased with lack of any real damage
Better clean the driveway off now there's clag everywhere
After a hour or so of jet washing nooks n crannies
deja vu glad you had a nice dayDon’t worry it is supposed to sound like that...honest

Was good to meet new and old faces
Was a great morning driving some nice tracks
Mick, the mud was a little slick for AT's, you never actually got stuck as such
Mark, have you got the pic of Mick's wheel?

lol that's brilliant.
Yeah he did, was laughing his head off on the bumpy shakey bits, but was knackered by end of it, doesn't usually get up at 6am.
He enjoyed his cheese burger, shame about my coffee tho
We didn't go into the show in the end, looked a bit carp n sodden.
Today I will get the halfrauds sockets out and remove the side bars..
One bracket is rolled right back on itself, but can't justify rock sliders
Would have been a real challenge getting up the steps Mark.

The bit with your Defender in the picture is the bit the D3's chickened out on!
I would have loved to try it - but I think we are a bit too long and would have ripped the rear bumper off
Was a great day, thanks again Mark Mark.
