I can see Guy Salmon Northampton from my house. 3 years servicing the Evoque and now the D4. Not had any issues so far. I request they don't wash it and they always take note. Give them a try?

Cheers for the recommendation. I am giving Marshalls a chance now, they are more engaged. they've had the car this week to do the diagnostics LR recommend, apparently it took two techs all day as it was 15 pages of measurements and checks (I think they might be prone to a bit of exageration).

I am now waiting for Land Rover to tell them what the next steps are, which should be the end of the week and we'll see where it goes from there.

I agree - I had great service for the last couple of services, I just think this issue taxed them and they did not handle it well.

They've been told to order a sensor and replace that, but it might not be covered under warranty - as its not apparently failed.

They've just mailed me to say it would be at my cost as warranty does not cover it, but as I am under LR warranty and LR have recommended the replacement they've asked LR if they would cover it... waiting an answer

As an aside - what's involved in replacing the N/S/F height sensor - that's what they've recommended replacing...

I went to marshalls cambridge to get some power steering fluid for my D3 they didn't have any so had to go to hunters in Kings Lynn.
Find it a bit strange a main dealer can run out of power steering fluid.

I would not be surprised if they have gallons of the stuff, just not in small saleable containers.

Now booked in for Thursday, apparently NSF height sensor needs replacing.

So NSF height sensor replaced on Thursday, left it on the drive last night and all day, this evening, turned on ignition and NSF went from 3" to 4" height from top of wheel to edge of arch... so guessing they've not fixed it.

Depressingly my warranty also ran out beginning of March and I had not renewed it (had not seen any renewal notice) and therefore it's cost me £250 to have the height sensor done and some testing done!

I called the LR warranty people today and they were not interested. Perhaps I'll contact LRCS to see if they can help anyway...

Companies have lost their moral compass, the customer may go away if they think their is no interest raise their awareness ......you are going to be awkward and just not go away. Persistence of the pest pays!

No doubt you will get the same again but ask for LRCS top man's email and LR managing director email.
How many years you have had their products, customer loyalty, and so on.

As an aside have had hell to get my own Disco details but tried Marshalls they were helpful but had limits. I went direct to LRCS lady who had helped me before she sorted for me and on a Friday afternoon. Will PM you if I can.

In fairness Marshalls have been quite helpful recently. I think they are just at the limits of being able to work out what's going on with the car.

Got a call from LRCS today. They were quite helpful and will look at the warranty side and have offered to facilitate in solving the issue of my replacement valve block does not solve the issue, which I have fitted today.

My biggest gripe is being filibustered out of warranty by their inability to solve it sooner
