Just purchased a used DISCO 3 from them !
Great service really, nothing to moan about so it must be good ?
Having not used their service department "and hoping NOT to" for warrenty work at least i cannot comment on their servicing or warrenty aftersale.
They stated that it would be serviced, it was
I was told all 4 tyres were OK so budgeted for this and when i picked it up they fitted 4 NEW !
They included 12 Months TAX ! "Not to be sniffed at"
And a new set of matts front & rear.............
the salesman had half an hour showing me everything on the car as ive come across from DEFENDER 2 forum having owned multiple versions in both 90 & 110 guises the tranformation between the two for me is like night & day 8) The salesman explained everything from the rear 7 seats to oil spec and heater controls to the space saver wheel !
It was very clean as promised inside and out so all in all i can only say that i,m over the moon with my new aquisition.
Thanks to
MATFORD LAND ROVER !

12 days into ownership of our 06 model from Matford, our battery died (after surviving the lowest temperatures in the southwest for 30 years without incident...). LRA turned up, jumped it and pronounced the battery as u/s.
LRA guy rang Matford Service dept who said that it wouldn't be covered by warranty so LRA wouldn't fit the spare that he had on his vehicle. Matford wanted us to drive to Exeter to get it sorted. The receptionist on the front desk at Matford (of all people...) intervened and got Yeovil (our local dealer) to change it.
A quick drive to Yeovil revealed that there were no batteries in stock - and nor did Taunton or Exeter (so we could have driven for an hour to be informed of nil stock...) and they are on back order from LR. Plymouth (Roger Young) had stock, but it would take 3 days to get it to Yeovil.
At this stage, I got rather dismissive of LR's abilities "oh well, we'll leave it here until Friday. It's no bloody use to us at home with a flat battery. We'll only have to call LRA again. We'll use our other vehicles instead..."
Matford have also ignored our request for "you missed these at PDI" faults to be resolved.
Not overly impressed so far with Matford
BTW Matford Exeter, Taunton and Yeovil are all the same company...
EDIT: Should also mention - Yeovil got us sorted.

i thought a battery was on it's way to us ?
i had 4 arrive this morning if it helps
was unaware there was an issue with someone needing a battery, let alone a forum member on my watch
i know it maybe unhelpful now but if someone had told me i could have stepped in somewhere along the line and helped..my specialality recently seems to be able to pull off the odd impossible mission TLO has left the building.......
I no longer work for a Landrover Dealer

Nick,
Please see edited post above. Peter and Sue got us sorted. All it cost us was a box of chocolates (and if Sue has any sense, they'll all be gone by now!)
