I took out a motoreasy warranty last year when warranty direct would no longer cover me due to age of vehicle. Was advised on the sales call that their warranty was "different from all others" because they covered wear and tear.
Fast forward to this year and i make a claim for lower front wishbones, upper rear wishbones and 2 seized front calipers. Claim was rejected on the basis that these items are wear and tear! Turns out they only cover sudden failures.
So watch out for anyone taking out an ME policy - what they sell you and what you get are very different!

They're all as bad. Warranty Direct refused to pay me out on a front air valve block that suddenly started dropping my Discovery overnight. They maintained it was wear and tear and wouldn't budge even with an ombudsman review.
Ironically I was with Motoreasy ever since, who have paid out without quibble on 4 or 5 things (but their admin/claim process is a pain)D4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten

Agree on the process being a pain. It takes ages to sort anything.

Definitely - They seem to underwrite the cover, but all the claim process is done via this "MotorAngel" sister company. Having had both warranties, in my experience the MotorEasy was 3/4 to 2/3rds of the price of WD, but you have to be prepared to do all the leg work, pay yourself and claim back, and then do a lot of invoice supplying etc. Their website is good though, where you can submit documents and do web chat etc. You pays your money, you takes your choice D4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten
