Many good view points have come out in the thread. We have sort of made a decision, in as much as we are not going to sell the Scirocco just yet (it is just a Scirocco - it is twin axle but the badge definitely says Scirocco) I am going to send it in to the workshop soon to get the rear end damage repaired on the insurance.

We seem to have set our heart on a VW T2 Bay window. My wife has decided that we can use this as well as the caravan, and if we don't like it and have to sell it, then they hold their value as solid as a rock and we won't loose out. Lets face it - there is more chance of making a bob or two on tidying up and selling a T2 'Dub than there is with it sat in the bank earning diddly squat interest Wink

I seriously considered 'Piechaps' Westfalia California that he is currently selling on this site, but its not quite what we are after. http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic71271.html?highlight=westfalia

So, the search continues. No rush though, there are loads for sale.

youve got me intrigued now i thought all the twin axles were super prefixed super : scirocco ,cyclone ,tempest ?

what years yours im assuming your layout is L shaped front diner fixed bed end washroom although they reverted to non L shape diner after about 2009 MY05 SE D3 Manual my first LR what a car
MY10 HSE D4 auto
MY14 XXV more buttons than the spaceshuttle
