Great news and congratulations on your decision Murat. If you have browsed this site you may have noticed Catweasel's build up to when his car arrived. He got excited as many of us have (and with good reason).
The Discovery 3 is truly an enjoyable and capable vehicle that comes with an absolutely free extra called the 'PermaGrin'. You are about to experience something that I haven't had with any other car. Enjoy.
Mine is approaching 12 months old (and 24 000 km) so far we have been up to Cooktown (inland and back via the Bloomfield track) toured the Atherton Tablelands, and down into northern New South Wales including a few forestry tracks (for want of a better word) and there is never a question of whether we take the wife's Alfa or the D3. The D3 wins every time (but only if I have my way!).

Congrats, you have made the right choice. Compared to other trucks, the ride and handling is so refined, it is quiet and supremely capable off-road. And with the 2007 model you get 3 flash indicators for overtaking amongst other new features. I wonder if they be upgraded to my MY06 model? '06 Disco 3 TDV6 SE Buckingham Blue

Here it comes: Sore cheeks, from grinning. It stops after a while. The sore cheeks that is, not the grinning.

Good Morning to all.
My new Discovery must be on the same boat as yours, docking in Melbourne on the 16th. Have had it on order from mid December and have sold my old Discovery 2 before xmas so I'm starting to have Disco withdrawals.
Regards to all

Dealer phoned yesterday to say that my new D3 should be available on Tuesday, ordered early Jan so it sounds like I've gotten off lightly with a 6 week wait.
Cant wait to get my hands on it.

I ordered my 07 build in mid dec but am not told not to expect it until may. How did you guys get yours so soon.
From this site there seems to be alot of owners but you don't see many on the road - but when you do everyone turns to look
If anyone is looking to buy you should wait until mine is delivered - going by past experience every other car I've bought seems to drop heaps as soon as I take delivery

How is it going to be delivered in 6 weeks? Easy - it is in Australia already, but probably has to come interstate. I ordered mine in July and it arrived in mid December, delivered in late December.
Cheers,
Rob

I have just ordered a 2007 TDV6 SE with rear diff lock, and expect delivery in 2 weeks. My brothers and I are planning a fishing trip up to Bermagui at the end of April and am unsure whether the new D3 will be sufficently run in to tow 2 ton boat up there? I should have 3000-4000km on it by then.
Look forward to contributing more on this site in the coming months/years
Cheers

I think it would be if you follow this guide!
http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm
Obviously I recommend you ignore me and listen to your dealer
Mine told me not to bother and just drive it.
