But that is not gonna fit in the door pocket of the D3 like the jetboil does! That's the main reason for having one (as oposed to anything else) isn't it??
Poncey sh*t or not, it makes a bloody fine cup of coffee. Must see if LR are interested in fitting one in the D4. Or perhaps I could hard-wire their compact one into the headrest and have it drip-fed to me?I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

No it wont fit in the door, which is very handy indeed, but setting fire to pieces of twig etc. (actually I use kindling wood that I take with me ) is officially less "poncy" than using gas cannisters .
I have the 1.5 lt version which is perfect for 5 tin mugs.

Hence the name, but seriously the "storm kettle" really does work in all weathers. (It originates from the West coast of Ireland) Amazing bit of kit.
I'd actually be just as happy plugging in a coffee machine though
P.S Wish I could be on Salisbury Plain this weekend to demo. it, have a great time.
