If you go into the setting for viewing the camera on the move, you also have three other options, one is the parking lines, one is camera on and one is shows a a trailer, allows you to turn off the sensors when towing. Mine are still coded to the car so not sure if this is an option that comes up when coded, as they do not seem to turn off automatically on the later versions.

Am I right in assuming that all this trickery to disable reversing sensors when towing via the camera setup screen is only on later D4s? I have a 2010 and my parking sensors do the beeeeeeeep thing as I fitted the electrics myself without any config changes, so this would be good. But I'm not hopeful. D4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten
