Don't know what's going on with this but I just clicked on it again and managed to buy it with the 2 months movie pass for £9.99 but when I went back to it the price had gone back to £14.99

So thanks for the heads up I got there eventually Cheers Ian

I think if you've got the deal they don't want you getting the sooper dooper price again. That is until it's listed again.

Is Now TV any good, do you need a fast Internet connection?

I can stream with no buffering on my 6Mbps DSL connection. Was coming through as HD as well.
Seriously considering binning off Sky and just going with Now TVDisco gone

Bought one a few weeks back and have been very impressed. Only "issue" I have is that they say no contract but you can't seem to set up an account, even with a voucher, without adding in credit card details. My connection is about 8M DSL and it streams HD fine although HD is 720p from sky but the box upscales everything to 1080p.

Offer's back on but £19 for 4 months movies pass, quite handy as the 2 month ticket on ours has just run out.

Better value from Amazon than direct from NOW TV.
We have two of the 1st gen boxes and only issue is you do have to keep renewing the 'pass' and if you don't they hound you with offers.

As you can see above I bought a box with a 2 month movie pass included. Do I need to cancel it after the 2 months is up so that they don't start charging me the monthly price and how do I go about cancelling?Cheers Ian

You can cancel within 28 days of the two month free trial by ending the subscription in the my account section. You will still be able to access the content until the two month period is up, so don't worry, it won't end there and then. Be aware if you don't cancel before the end of the free period, your credit card will be charged for a full month.

The reason I asked was that when I activated my free 2 month pass the email I received afterwards said "When your offer ends It's just £9.99 a month" I didn't know whether this was just informing me that I could continue at £9.99 a month or they were going to charge me £9.99 a month once the free pass had expired. Because you have to supply a valid credit card to activate your free pass I was worried that they were going to start charging me and I didn't want that, but it seems when I go to cancel there is nothing there to cancel so I think I'm OK Cheers Ian

Don't be too sure Ian. I bought one just before Christmas on special offer at Sainsburys and it came with a free two month movies pass.
Like you I set up the account for which you have to give credit card details. I only wanted it for catch up TV and I knew damned well I'd forget to cancel the movie subscription which would kick in automatically after two months, so after opening the account I cancelled the subscription next day.
I definitely had to actually cancel it and I remember that it took a bit of finding on the site to do so. It wasn't an obvious process.Arthur.
Comedy was a horse, Harvey a dog, both sadly gone. Thought I was choosing a password!
