When I go into the area to cancel all I can see if these options for either starting a free trial or buying a pass, there doesn't seem to be anywhere to cancel a free pass

DJ has got it spot on. It isn't obvious where to cancel on your account and it gives you the impression your cancelling your free trial from the moment you press that button. It's Murdochs Sky in another disguise after all!
It's actually not difficult to search the web and find out other NowTV free trials. Just sign up under another email address if you need to.

That's the page I have posted a screen grab of above but there is nowhere to cancel it which makes me think it just expires, but as you say this is Murdoch so I don't trust him Cheers Ian

What if you click on 'start my free trial'? Maybe you need to start the trial to be able to cancel the account?
Wish I could remember exactly what I did but that page looks familiar as a starting point.Arthur.
Comedy was a horse, Harvey a dog, both sadly gone. Thought I was choosing a password!
Currently;
Discovery 3 HSE 2009
101" Fwd. Control 1976
Nuffield 10/90 Tractor (10/60 with 6 cylinder conversion) 1964
You normally have to go into My Passes then click cancel on the one you have started the trial on, it asks you why you want to cancel and if you say on the drop down box you cannot afford it, it sometimes offers you four months for the price of two so you end up paying £4.99 pm instead of £9.99 pm for the movies, different for the sports and entertainment packages,
Word of warning if you do not cancel it it will keep charging you after the trial period is up.
Hope that helps now to buy another movie package, if anyone wants an old white nowtv box I have one spare as just bought new boxes for the passes
Just drop me a pm with your address and I will send it out FOC snail pace

Well I have finally got it sorted but had to use the live chat as I noticed they had charged my card yesterday My very very good friend Vikram said "he was sorry I couldn't cancel online but unfortunately Mr Ian the cancel option is removed during a billing cycle" and he then went on the hard sell trying to get me to stay and I had to ask 3 times for it to be cancelled and my money refunded which he eventually agreed to If, and it's a big IF, I get a pass again I will make sure I cancel it as soon as I activate it to avoid this hassle in the future but judging by there customer forums this seems to happen to an awful lot of people
Thanks for all the help and suggestions Cheers Ian

I just add them to the collection. Will be 4 when this one arrives.
Will keep this box but last two spare ones I had I gave a white one to Simoniz on here and my mate had the other as his kids were nagging him to get one even gave him the three months entertainment pass that came with it (got it for £12.50 last time on offer) so he could try it out.
You can also sell the boxes on eBay etc or trade them in at some games/computer/cash converters think the going rate is between £5-7 per box for the black ones.Goodyear Duratracs

Back on offer but not such a good deal, £12 for 2 months Movies or 3 months Entertainment package. Will pass on this and hold out for a better deal.
