| Outside temperature gauge faulty? |

Driving back from the beach house this afternoon (up the Clyde Mountain in NSW) - the outside temperature gauge was reading 74 degrees C  It was really only about 32 deg C outside - does anyone else / everyone else have this problem? I notice it only driving up mountains in summer. TDV6 HSE (2006 - ARB BullBar, UHF, Sat-Nav, GG AT2's, roof racks, full of fishing gear, kids cra#, and red nail polish on passenger seat from wife painting nails while offroad)
