Paint pens and PPF
Hello,
Got a query, my gorgeous German Shepard loves the car and loves car rides. She gets rather excited and her paws have left some little light scratches, which I’m going to try use the Meguiar's scratch removal (hopefully works).
Finally has anyone had PPF attached wondering about getting it for just the rear as I’m sure someone said the cost for the full car is around £3000 and don’t think it’s required.
Thanks

Not sure anyone’s going to help until we get a pic of said gorgeous GS.

Good afternoon,
A couple of 'rules of thumb' for scratches in the clear coat as the USA likes to call it.
1) Rub it gently with your fingernail. If you nail bumps across it is very unlikely you will be able to 'simply' polish it out (likely the scratch has made it to the paint)
2) Wet your finger and gently dab the visible scratch, if it momentarily disappears (but returns as the surface dries) then there is every chance you can polish that out
Try that before you invest in any pens and therefore unnecessary expense.
I once took a notorious British key scratch from the whole side of SWMBO's Tiguan using a dual action polisher and Meguairs.
You may find this helpful - I used this video as my approach.
Just a thought "Track day running - Don't put your foot back on the accelerator until your absolutely sure you don't have to take it off again"
Current Ride: D4 XS Commercial Baltic Blue SDV6 fully loaded with heated everything
Track Days: BMW E36 M3 Evolution MY 1996 (3.2 Litre 377 BHP sat in 1,250 Kgs of car, with a pro safety cage and some serious braking power)
