Anyway back on topic apart from the manifold what else is likely to be different between the two models? How do I go about proving it? Club Exped trailer

Have you got a 10MY or 11MY? All 10MY were badges as TDV6, 11MY has TDV6 and SDV6. What is the two letters before the last six numbers of your VIN?
ie. AA123456 is 10MY BA123456 is 11MY.

That's a weight of my mind knowing it's you doing the business with the bread knive, at least she will still be tight when you've finished one of you epic marathon 30 second sessions. Chimp! It's not the cake that's making you fat it's the amount of Boy sauce you knock back in the city.

Update:
Land Rover have agreed that the D4 they sent to the dealer is indeed a TDV6 and not the SDV6 I ordered. The result is a new D4 in Fuji white has been ordered by the dealer and I get to keep this one until it arrives. I'll get a delivery date hopefully wednesday, fingers crossed. Club Exped trailer

I love the fact that Old Man Ent posts a serious question on here and within a few minutes it's turned to abuse!
Sounds like you got a good result Lee - it will be interesting to hear what you think to the differences between the two engines. I also guess they'll be flogging your (current D4) off cheap pretty soon as I doubt they'll want a commercial as a demonstrater. Could be a bargin for someone - infact Countrywide might be up for a commercial! D3 HSE MY05 Auto

Thats what I thought. If I hadn't had 245bhp one on loan for a week whilst mine was in for both front drive shafts it would have been an easy mistake to make. The log book came this morning and it confirmed my suspicions by clearly stating it was a TDV6. At first the dealer didn't believe what I was telling him but when confronted with hard facts they were very appologetic and have been really helpful, great communications with the sales chap. I'm wondering now if I should give LR Customer Care a ring and try to wrangle a few extras such as Logic 7 It's still a bit of a pain in the backside having to wait for the new car to arrive as its put all my mods on hold including the tempory rear seats I need for the occasional school run Club Exped trailer

It will go back to LR HQ I should imagine as it wasn't a dealer foul up but LR themselves who were responsible for the mis-build. Its a lovely car and a real pleasure to drive so I'm eagerly anticipating the full fat version to arrive. Club Exped trailer
