Poly Bush Kit
Got a copy of LRO and they did a write up on a new Poly Bush set for the D3, given the wear rate of the bushes it might be worth looking at for replacements.

Here's a link to the site which makes them. It's not cheap for a complete set, but they should wear well.
According to the article it is not a simple DIY fit although it can be done. It also stiffens up the suspension and improves steering etc.
Chris Tyler had this done a few months ago so maybe interesting to see if he has a wear/useage report on themTLO has left the building.......

Fancy this at some stage too. Prob when Iain does my dampers otherwise it looks expensive!!

I think my bushes are on the way out.
When I was under the D3 at the weekend changing the fuel filter i gave them a quick once over.
I get play left to right and slightly up and down when i use a pry bar, take it thats not normal?2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue.

In the same issue they recommended www.disco3.co.uk as a club to join if you had a D3. It was in the section where they looked at buying three cars.

Yes they seem expensive but ideal if you need to replace your bushes
I was just wondering if anyone had used them yet and if there was an excessive wear rate or anything

I would love to get em on but the price + labor makes it way expensive unless you got time and space to do DIY it

Just done mine was not an easy job, not to bad geting the arms of but geting the old bushes out was a pain.
The handling is now a lot better dont know how long they last, ask me again in 4 years. all in all its good news
