If you have the necessary hardware (correct EEPROM reader with appropriate clip), I'd say it is really easy from the programming side of things. IMHO getting into the old gauges and fitting the display is the most time consuming. Took me 10 minutes to reprogram the gauges and 6 hours dismantling and fitting back the interior. Note that I have never reprogrammed a chip before, although I know my way through computer hardware Thumbs Up

Hi all, I have a request please. I have a D4 2010 diesel and had the instrument cluster fitted from an L322 4.4 TDV8. Everything works without errors as it should, I just have a problem with the fuel gauge.

The original D4 instrument cluster worked flawlessly, but now it's pretty messy. When I have more than half of the tank according to the indicator, I fill up with 55l (and I have a standard tank), or if it shows about a quarter of the tank, it is completely empty. When coding, we set an 80l tank. We also overlooked during the coding that I have a rev indicator for gasoline and not diesel, but I assume that will not be a problem to fix and it cannot be related to the fuel gauge.

Has anyone encountered this? Thank you and greetings from the Czech Republic

Hi,

Just read all 36 pages...
Can i get some help with the eeprom portion, where to buy the decoder from, how to actually connect it? Do you need to remove it from the PBC? or you are connecting it on the PCB?

Also does it matter which L322 digital dash to use? so that there are some variations

Hi,

Found a company on AliExpress who are happy to supply one for L319. They have a 45 day delivery time frame due to modifications to the virtual dash.

has anyone tried this with a L319 Disco 4?
