Sorry to hear that Corsham Tyres couldn't do it. They are a great family business that are straight as straight can be, but there must be someone near you that can do the work.
As for LR D4 ownership, bear with it. Not all repairs are like this. However, what car can realistically give you the versatility of a D4?
It's a cracking car, a real all rounder. Yes they need a bit of love, but they are worth it for the smile per mile and shear versatility. My new Defender doesn't come close.  \
The other idea is Disco Mikey in Dundee or Oval Autos in the Midlands. You are wiling to travel, so why not?

Yeah true. It is a cracking car and best size 7 seater ive found which can go literally anywhere whatever the weather
