Recommendations for non-dealer service near sandton?

Hello,

My 06 d3 is well out of warranty and i am looking for a specialist to take care of it going forward? Any good all around suggestions, or rather do i need to find different people for basic service vs more involved work?

The car is running fine and isjust coming up to 100k. Only a whine from the drivetrain at motorway speeds has me worried about he potential for silly sized bills from dealer.

Hello Jeff and welcome. Just scroll back a few pages in this part of the forum, and you will see recommendations for gearbox and diff work - which it sounds like you will need soon (front diff) as well as lots of independent service centers.

Search for +independent +service or similar, and it should show up a bunch of options
