Removing D4 sidesteps

Any tips on using an angle grinder to remove badly corroded factory sidesteps?

Hi.

Do you mean to grind your nuts off.. not literally 😂

Do you definitely have to use a grinder. I managed to get all but one bolt out with WD40 sprayed over a couple of days.

Or are you thinking of grinding the steps off to give better access to the bolts?

I ground through where the bracket and steps 'overlap' which then meant I could take the sill covers off and remove the mounting bolts.
