Hi all
New member and first poster with a problem greatly appreciate any tips...I have a 05 disco with 100kmls, after limping home on the motorway last week i took it to my local landrover dealer and they told me that it needed 3 new injectors, they quoted me £280 each + fitting, i have been told by an independent injector specialist that because the injectors are siemens that they cannot be reconditioned, has any one got experience of this problem and is this true, can you not replace with reconditioned?? also is it possible to fit these yourself or do they have to be recoded by LR??
many thanks in advance.

When mine went the IDS only gives first injector fault, so you only know if there is another failure once that is replaced. Unless they have done other checks, then how would they know it needs three.

They probably carried out a leak back test on all the injectors to find out which ones were worn/faulty

Yes u can replace them urself with a bit of technical mind (no need to code them)
Ids can tell exactly which injector has to be changed
Have a few s/h here if stuck geting them
Yes its a common problem in RoI (fuel quality sh.....)
