Get the lamps, put them in a secret place & work on Mrs Googsy. Then when she does say "oh, go on then" thinking that she has weeks to work on you til you get them, you just pull them out of the cupboard & say "I knew you'd see the light!".
Nice one ! Sounds like you know all the techniques!
Cheers

Derek , you do realise that you could be contributing to the breakup ofa perfectly good marriage ?
Googsy you have to use the PosNeg â„¢ procedure.Though this procedure has been known to eradicate any possible savings you have made on your purchases but will allow you to reach your end goal without any nasty sideeffects.
1. Order parts.
2.Receive goods at another address or holding area ( see DSL services UK Ltd for that)
3.Suggest to wife that she really needs that latest hairdo , or handbag from CuteyBonVersucky as featured on Sex and the City.Unless she is extremely canny and has used the PosNeg â„¢procedure on YOU , she should readily agree with haste.
3a Receive parts and stash in a suitably discreet area.
4.Wait for 1 day no more after she has received her handbag etc (as the euphoria soon dissipates .CuteyBonVersuckey will be out of fashion by a few days later in any case.)Announce that you have got alittle something for your motor , I mean "OUR "motor.
5. Wifey should agree ( although witha little angst) as the Positive effect of the new handbag should outweigh the Negative of your own purchases.
6. Always be prepared to disclose a price. Her first question will always be 'how much was that'?
The price quoted is entirely up to yourself, you just have to make it believable enough so you don't get whacked over the head with said CuteBonVersucky handbag! ( this advice was taken from an external consultant and we advise to do so at your own risk)
Disclaimer : PosNeg â„¢ does not accept any responsibility for injuries , death etc etc sustained whilst trying its methods.PosNeg â„¢is regulated by the Husbands Regulator. Some terms and conditions apply

One flaw in your PosNeg system, if Mrs Googsy gets a new handbag then there is even less dosh in the pot for the D3!!!
